Fenimore Kay Harrison has been recognized by S&P Global Market Intelligence as the most prolific legal advisor in bank merger and acquisition transactions for 2022. The Firm totaled 19 whole-bank M&A transactions as lead legal advisor. These transactions included six whole bank transactions with announced values in excess of $100 million, three transactions involving non-bank investor group buyers, and two transactions in which the Firm advised banks that sold to credit unions.
The ranking represents the third consecutive year in which the Firm held or shared the top ranking among law firms as measured by number of deals. Since the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2022, the Firm was credited as lead legal advisor on 47 bank M&A transactions.
The Firm also tied for the national lead in number of branch transactions on which it served as lead legal advisor.
